Animals & Birds

I got this picture across from my house with a 80 to 300 mm lens but had to be to quick to get a good foreground. The lens was mounted on a Konica/Minolta 7D Camera. He spooked and was going to run when I started to talk to him and he stopped to listen to me for about 3 minutes before trotting on.   Sam Wilson

An oryx herd grazing on the portion of White Sands Missile Range that surrounds White Sands National Monument. Approximately 60 animals were transplanted here in 1960 and the herd has grown to over 1500 animals. From Dale Burge Alamogordo, New Mexico.
