Animals

My wife, Joyce, and I got some good photos of Desert Big Horn at the Mojave Preserve near Baker.   One photo shows a ram and the other shows a ewe and her new born lamb.   We hope other people enjoy them as much as we do. - Mike

Went down to Miller Canyon on Friday and visited my friend Tom Beatty at Beattys Guest Ranch. Got some hummer shots, the guest Berylline was there. Not a breeder in the US. But doesn't need a green card, he's already green Ha! Ha! Enjoy the shots. White-Eared also. - by Sam Wilson

I got a rather lucky shot of this Diamondback rattlesnake in the Hueco Mountains State Park area near El Paso last week. - Photo by Ron Mears

Read more about this snake, which is actually a Northern Black Tailed Rattlesnake, and how Ron was able to take his photo, on the DesertUSA message board.
