Pictures
from the Chihuahan Desert, Monclova, Mexico
|
These pictures are from my
ranch in Monclova Mexico, in what is part of the
Chihuahuan
desert. Ignacio Villasenor, Monclova
Coahuila, Mexico
The wild poinsettia grows on the side of a mountain.

The Jicama is a "fruit" very popular
in Mexico as a snack. It looks like a big potato
and grows underground. You eat it raw and it's
very
juicy and crunchy, semi sweet and a very good
source of watter in an emergency. I have seen it
lately in supermarkets in Texas and New Orleans.

The
spider web I took on a foggy morning; it was
full of dew, which is what made it so
visible.
