Looking down from Cerro Gordo to Owens Lake, an early morning August sun makes for a whimsical displays of colors. This photo is in remembrance of Jody Stewart, wonderful person and owner of the ghost town Cerro Gordo. The above is a photograph, taken by me in July of 1999 on an overcast day during a hiking /biking trip with my husband Les (Broadway Les) from Brian Head to Bryce and to Zion and Back to St George on a tandem bike with periods of rest that permitted hiking in the great parks.
