• Goldfield Ghost Town: 4 miles north of Apache Junction (on left, opens at 10:00 AM)
• Lost Dutchman State Park: 1/2 mile past Goldfield( on right)
• Tortilla Flat: 18 miles NE of Apache Junction on Route 88
• Roosevelt Dam: 47 miles NE of Apache Junction on Route 88

Mile Posts Along The Apache Trail, Route 88

197: Stone monoliths on the left side of the mountain slopes

200: Just past this mile marker is the site of Bluebird Mine (now closed)

203: Weaver's Needle Vista

206: Just before this marker is Apache Gap with a spectacular view of Four Peaks

208: Canyon Lake Overlook

210: Single lane bridge over First Water Creek

• Acacia picnic & swimming area
• Palo Verde boat ramp & swimming area
• Single lane bridge over Boulder Creek
• Boulder Canyon Trail (right after bridge)
• Canyon Lake Marina (left after bridge)
• Laguna Boat Ramp (after Marina)

213: Approach Tortilla Flat

• Tortilla Flat Campground (on left)

220: Pavement ends and graded road begins

• Another mile past 220 is the Tortilla Trailhead which goes to Tortilla Ranch (public and, 4WD required)

222: Descent begins down Fish Creek Hill

• 1,500-foot decent within 3 miles

228: Apache Lake Vista

• 5 miles past #228 you reach Burnt Corral Turnoff (primitive campground)
• Roosevelt Dam soon comes into view

244: End of Apache Trail
