Re: First half of the Camino del Diablo
Good one, Teufel. It's in the lava bed, and I missed it last time, so. . . no photo. As I said in the write-up, Nameer is a middle eastern name, I've been told. Interesting that a middle easterner would have such an elaborate lay-out, compared to the others. Guess he was really liked. It's also good...

Re: First half of the Camino del Diablo
Glad you liked it Sylvia.
It'll be awhile until I walk up past the fortuna mine - maybe this Fall.
The terrain is the same though - guess the memories are different.
I'll bet your grandfather had stories to tell.

I passed on the wrong info: Enter michael@uneedspeed.net in the Guest login.
Fototime Support was kind enough to correct the errors of my ways.
There are captions, and they aren't necessarily in order.

Re: First half of the Camino del Diablo
I put the Camino pics on fototime.com.
If you'd like to see them, go to that website, and enter kingmancruiser@yahoo.com in the Guest entry block.
I quit trying to get them on here. Just not smart enough.

Re: First half of the Camino del Diablo
I'm trying, Tradclimber.
Haven't gotten the intended results.
I'll just sit here and fool with the keyboard until the anwer presents itself.
I do want to get the pics up. There'll be more on the last segment.

Re: First half of the Camino del Diablo
I did take pictures, Vulture.
I'd want to put them all on at once, and when I learn how to do it, it'll happen.
I think I'll try one or two, and see what happens.

First half of the Camino del Diablo
A trip on the Camino del Diablo The Camino del Diablo – Devil’s Highway, is a trail for those who love history. Created from virgin desert as many as a thousand years ago by the Papago Indians on their way to trade (or maybe make war) with tribes to the west, it was a foot trail until the Spanish ar...

Re: RV camping on public land
Thank you much, folks. We went to an area just north of Blythe - Midlands. It definitely wasn't Arizona! We might visit it again, to explore the Midland-Rice road, and the ghost towns. The weather was great, low 70s. No wind Came back to 20mph winds and 55 degrees. There is something special about K...
