When I am out in the desert camping what I really like to listen to is Neil Young's Cortez the Killer. It just sets the mood and takes you back into the past. "We built up with our bare hands what we still can't do today" that kills it for me. :D

The Cottonwood campground at JTNP is a great place to star gaze. The only thing I can say about the night sky folks is that they are a little "territorial" and have there own little clique at Cottonwood. Try it out. It is a dark place and the truck stop in the link does not affect anything...

Sal, where are your pictures taken in Wonder Valley. Cross streets or something? I lived in Wonder Valley many years ago and I don't recognize your photo's. I may be wrong but tell us where those are taken. I also did notice that those signs are not pink and white like the other BLM signs in your ar...
