as a general rule in these types of discussions
its difficult to determine what a person motivation is
until all the facts are in.

Although Sunday was not a particuliarily hot miserable day
for a hike--- I wouldn't think.

This is the latest update that I could find
They have released the person name and the search goes on

Very well stated Roc! Alan, please remember that family members sometimes visit sites like these during searches for loved ones.

Kurt,

Hopefully, you will be offering your services to the Sheriff's Office. Usually, an organized and professional search is the most successful. In that country, they often use civilian volunteers.

Good luck,

Joe

Kurt,

Wise words. I hope everyone is paying attention. Having spent a number of years with SAR here in Mohave County, I am familiar with the science of finding people who have become lost in the desert, as well as in town.

The elderly often wander away from their homes, and in the summer it becomes lethal.......quickly.

Once again, good luck,

Joe

Since he has not been quickly found presume that he is not on the main trail
I would search up the creek bed
He may have went there in search of shade and water
