Here is the find it is some letters carved into a cave wall. The yellow is litchen and the black is some other moss.

Here is part of the image after a lab has worked with it. It was two words and some Roman numerals. This is what a few of us think to be the starting spot for the stone maps. I found these letters inside of a dug out two room cave.

That makes two inscriptions now in as many days,beginning with "EL".And very similar lettering style.Perhaps even the same words.How odd the timing
No wonder it has been so quiet today on the LDM and T-Net sites.What is it they say about things coming in threes?
The area and what you have found does show promise.....good work.

We now know where the bayonet is pointing and WHAT it is pointing at. We have closed are doors untill Sept or October untill the film crew can handle the heat again. Now we have the exact same markings and Roman numerals from the stones inside a dugout two room cave. While some other sites set and read books we work are fingers to the bone. If you want to check my story out look and see we just got are ok from the forest peeps to film> A film permit. It was not very easy!! My partner is a bad ass mo fo.

I wish I lived close enough to do more than just read, but that's the best I can do for now and if the economy doesn't improve one of these days that may be all I'll ever be able to do sadly.

I'm probably way behind in the history of all this .
So a few naive questions

The stone maps refer to the Pertalta Stones?
The location of this cave was somwhere in the Peter Canyon U Tube Video?
The lettering in the lichen is presumed not to be a natural formation ?

Kurt - that's very cool that you are getting filming done and it sounds like it may be an episode for a TV show from the sounds of it. That's an exciting thing to be a part of - keep us informed of the schedule when it make it on TV - I will definitely be watching!!
