How can you tell from the shadows whether this is East of the Algodones Dunes, North of Borrego Springs, South of El Centro, or in the Borrego Badlands?

The exact location (until I get out there to look at it) is going to remain with me (and all the people in *********** that have known about it for many years) ...... for now.

C'mon Mike,
Even I can see it's E of the 111, W of the 86, N of the border and S of I-10..... Why I have almost been there many times before, all I had to do follow my map from Wharton James.... < snicker > Have fun my friend, hope to see you out in the sand some day.....

How do you get East of the 111 and West of the 86? 111 runs on the East side of Salton and 86 on the West side?

I have seen a pectoglyph of what appears to be a viking ship w/ a broken mast. The pectoglyph is @ the top of a cliff near a Indians ruins overlooking the Agua Fria River in Arizona. I don't suppose anyone knows any details about anything like this?

I don't know about that pictograph but the Norsemen did visit the Americas about 1000 years ago. http://www.smithsonianmag.com/history-archaeology/vikings.html
