Actually, I will do just that! I currently work in the Glen Canyon/Grand Canyon area as a tour guide that drives tourist from Flagstaff,AZ, to Page, AZ for smooth water rafting trips. I also give dissertations on the area's history and geology while driving them. I will ask the main National Park Ranger for that specific area if she's heard anything, or has any relevant info.

Some National Parks and other agencies have volunteers to help with digs and surveys, check out the following website and do a search for archaeology (as a type of oppurtunity)
