Mexican Wind, released in 1990 on the Tell me Why album.
Couldn't pin down the exact location, but judging by her bio, she sites southern California as the inspiration for her work.
That, and what looks like a Joshua tree in the opening scene, leads me to believe southern California.
Joshua Tree National Park?

painless, it wasn't in the park but you're in the ballpark. I was looking more for the buiding the interior shots were done in. Surely someone here recognizes it.

I'll see what I can do about the vacation. Maybe it's deja vu all over again, you might have been there in another life.Guz wrote:I won? Awesome! I can hardly wait for my 2 week vacation to hawaii for winning! Thanks YC

Okay, Yuccahead, no kidding, are you, or have you ever been, the cowdude in the red shirt playing the mandolin? Really? Are you a professional musician, or an actor hired to look exceptionally cowdudish while playing air-mandolin? Your rabid fans and groupies need to know!

Yuccahead:
Thanks for sharing the song. I had never heard Jan Brown sing Mexican Wind. Now I want to find a copy of it. Yes, I agree with the location posted. It certainly is southern California. And there was a Joshua Tree in the video. I love ready Edward Abbey's books and he was a great lover of the Cabeza Prieta country in southwestern Arizona.
Thanks for sharing.
