Free Bluegrass concerts in the desert

Feb 5-6 At the Goldfield Ghost Town located 4.5 mi. N/E of Apache Junction, Arizona on the historic
Admission to the festival and the ghost town is FREE! You can bring lawn chairs. The stages will be at the north end of town, downhill from the church, (not in the downtown area) and in the church itself.

Feb. 25-26 Quartzsite AZ Admission free, but love offering will be accepted.
Concerts held indoors. Featuring: Brush Arbor Revival, Bost Family Tradition,
Extra Touch, Karmann & Kompany, The Pew Boys, Bluegrass Brethren, Shuler Family
Band and Tangled Strings.

Thanks for the info Jim! I love bluegrass music---smiles are formed on faces and the feet begin-a-stompin'! I'm a Led Zeppelin freak---but bluegrass cooks! I always enjoy going to Calico on Mother's Day weekend enjoying the bluegrass band up and down the street. (I sure miss the chili cook-off though, it fit like a glove. Mike C. Brea, Ca.

Thanks Jim. I will make sure the banjo goes with me to Quartzite! I'm also planning on bringing a crate or two of organicly grown citrus. Some of the best music happens round the campfire gathering after the show.
