I’m with you Rep.

While yh is looking for shoe trees, I’ll be looking for panty and bra trees.

We must eliminate this disgusting trash from our deserts!

You're taking it home to the rescue crew, aren't you?

Good work, TC. I'm glad to see you're keeping abreast of the tree situation out there.

Trash? – probably.

But I admire these gals free spirit!

I am not sure if the search for this(these) trees will meet with my wife's idea of looking for flora and fauna? But, you seem to have inadvertently not included just where the tree(s) are located?
Regards,
Jim

I remember camping in some of those areas with my dad 45-50 years ago and if we saw even one other vehicle out there my dad would say something like, "It's kind of crowded out here today."
Now, endless streams of cars and tour busses use them to avoid the interstates, I guess.
Trashing the Mojave with these shoe trees and writing your name with rocks is apparently the thing to do out there these days.
I first drove that route from Vegas to Palm Springs in Sept of 2001, and saw few cars. Now a decade later I think it has become the new "back road" for people coming to LV from So Cal, and now quite a few cars drive that route from (close to I-15/Nipton) down thru the Mojave Preserve thru Cima & Kelso south across I-40 and on to Amboy to 29 Palms...........even the railroad depot at Kelso is now open with a diner & museum.
