If you don't have any sort of photo software on your computer you can always upload them to Photobucket and resize them there, then share them here from Photobucket. I've got a very old Photoshop Elements program that works fine for resizing and adjusting color, contrast, etc. but I also use Photobucket sometimes for the same results. |

NO excuse my ignorance...I'm not sure to tell the truth.  New at computers, only got online few weeks ago.I had a computer a few years back ,but never had internet,kids used it mostly for homework and games. What is Photobucket and upload ? I know how to download. As per Win-doze Visa HELP on uploading. To upload files to an FTP website, you usually need certain permissions from the person who owns the site. That person must also give you a user name and password, which you'll need to sign in to the FTP site. Open the FTP website in your browser. Click Page, and then click Open FTP site in Windows Explorer. If you use a different web browser, follow the instructions that came with your browser. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. In Windows Explorer, press ALT, click File, and then click Login as. Type the user name and password, and then click Log On. After you sign in, you can copy files to the FTP website by copying and pasting. And TY Yuccahead

It would probably be easier for you to sign-up at Photobucket and upload the Photos you wish to share there. Photobucket is free and will walk you through the very simple process. http://www.photobucket.com I use Photobucket myself for posting Photos on the web so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. |

 OK Went to photobucket signed up....uploaded the picture I wanted to share....resized it to small...have one picture I wanted to share and its becoming an all day learning adventure....There has to be a better way.... .....and I get the ERROR MESSAGE INVALLID URL. I copy and pasted it direct from photobucket....so still at an impass.Sorry all. I'm an idiot. |

YES..photobucket is simple....DesertUSA has to get on the ball and figure a better way..it's the DesertUSA site that has issues,its very vague. I dont see a Help section?? Or am I going blind as well... |

Try this- Go to your photo on Photobucket Hold your cursor over your photo and a window will appear Move your cursor down to the one that says IMG Code and click the left button on your mouse It should highlight the URL, then right click your mouse Another window will appear, left click COPY and come back to DUSA Open this forum and right click your mouse A window will appear, choose PASTE by left clicking on it Your Photo IMG Code should appear in your post It will look something like this with (IMG) at each end before you submit your post: (img)http://i212.photobucket.com/albums//uploading2.jpg(/img) <------- Image Code  Scroll down and click the PREVIEW tab to see if your photo shows up in your post. Then hit SUBMIT Good luck, |
