Great photos of the Quail. I really like the close up of the head. I haven't posted any photos. I have been having problem getting Photobucket to transfer photos to Desert USA.

This is a Hawk setting on a high-tension post near our place. I believe it is a Harris Hawk. I hope you enjoy it.

Here is a better photo of the hawk along First Water Road. I believe it is a Red Tail, but I could be wrong.

This is a photo of a Mexican Grackle near Canyon Lake along the Apache Trail. The eye sure stands out.

Sharp shinned hawk from this morning. I nearly walked right by it hiding in a Russian olive not 15' from the trail.

Great shot....That hawk looks a little bit cold. Maybe it is just the way I am looking at him. Lots of birds will hardly fly when they are extremely cold.

It was right around freezing, sun just up for an hour or so. He didn't seem too concerned with me watching him for a while, but after about 5 minutes it must have grew a little annoyed with me interrupting breakfast and flew into the trees.
