Saguaro National Park reports = The wildflowers are starting to open here at Saguaro (so far our staff have spotted poppies, lupine, jewelflower and penstemon). Unfortunately great wildflowers also mean lots of buffelgrass, so we could use your help at our monthly pull on Saturday. We are getting really close to finishing up the Freeman Homestead Patch which staff and volunteers have been working on since July 2008, so please come on out and enjoy the beautiful weather and help us knock out this patch (erm)!

Saguaro National Park is waving entrance fees on Tuesday, February 14th, in honor of Arizona's Centennial. Our park partner, the Western National Parks Association (WNPA), will also offer a 15% discount on all products at the visitor center bookstores.
