Just drove the Mojave Road this weekend with some friends. A great trip. No mud to speak of anymore. Even Soda Lake was nice and firm. A good amount of water in Afton Canyon, deep enough to make it fun without being cause to worry.

Looks good but a resize on those pics would be nice.

Yeah, sorry. I just linked the photos from Facebook. Didn't expect them to be so huge since they don't display that large on Facebook. I'll resize them when I can but I'll have to find another place to host them.

EDIT: moved to flickr. Hope these work better.

Hey, fancy meeting you here! Had a great trip. The water crossing was deep enough for me! About 2 1/2 feet.

Nice pictures Paul! They really bring out the reason us desert rats do what we do. Looking at the Afton Canyon Mojave River crossing brings back the best of memories---now you really pumped up Cowboy Slim when he hits up Coyote Canyon later this month! Best to all of ya---Mike C. Brea, Ca. :D

Actually, later this month, exactly 4 weeks from today, I'll be checking out the water in Coyote Creek north of Borrego Springs.
