stewed,

You have to admit... Bubba has done some homework on the subject. He just hasn't digested it all and started sorting it out yet. It's still all running together in his head and a bit scrambled.

And I, or anybody else in their right mind either, would not have left without taking all the gold I could carry. I would leave all supplies stashed somewhere, to be able to carry that much more gold. Of course, thats just me. All I would carry other than gold would be water and firepower.

Here's a thought to ponder,
Has anyone ever seen a Forest Ranger in the Superstitions after sundown?
I sure haven't!

It must have been Bubba's Guardian Angel that came strolling into his camp in the middle of the night to make sure he was alright?

They don't carry guns Goldseeker.
I know that sounds strange, but it is true!
They don't need them.
They are protected by Federal Law.

jim i know one thing for sure if i was a park ranger and was wandering around at 2 am and was gonna enter someones camp you can bet i would be announcing my presence before i got myself shot for this (ranger) to be creeping around this guys site and to be hideing in the shadows even after being outed and to see he isnt carrying anything other than a flashlight would leave me with a very uneasy feeling one would think that a properly trained ranger would do the opposite thing that this guy did and would be carrying at least the basics with him including water after all wasnt he looking for someone who was lost sounds sketchy to me
