rhyolite

Post by lara »

it is difficult to go to such a photographically well-known place and find something "new" to say, but i am hoping this shot is different enough. i call it, "now comes the night" after the rob thomas song of the same name. music and photos are inexorably connected in my mind and many times in my photos. i am not a religious person, but this place moves me on a spiritual level.

Image

When the hour is upon us
And our beauty surely gone
No you will not be forgotten
No you will not be alone

And when the day has all but ended
And our echo starts to fade
No you will not be alone then
And you will not be afraid
No you will not be afraid
