Pegleg Smiths Liars Contest
Has anyone here been to the Pegleg Smith's Liars Contest? Is it all right for kids or is it an adult thing? How many people show up? How loud is it?

Got a rug-rat with Auditory Processing Disorder. A lot of loud human voices is agony for him.

been about 10 years since i went. as i recall you'll get a host of characters adept at spinning yarns, to varying degrees of success. expect a lot of prospector motifs, a good crowd, lots of kids, and overall a nice time. i don't remember anything offensive.

Lots of kids, that's always a good sign. Thanks, cercidium. Do you remember if there were any activities or food vendors? I get the impression its not commercialized.
