Here is a photo of what I think are defense walls in the Superstition Mountains.
I am having some challenge to getting groups of photos posted but thanks to Jims help I can at least share this one.
I found this in 2009 while investigating what I believe is or was a Spanish base camp.
I found three such ruins along with a rock cairn and two rock images of horses as well as a spanish face.
These walls were stratigicaly located as to afford the best overall view of the only approch to the camp.
So far I have not read of these particular stuctures being reported by anyone.

Nice find Alan. You even got the photo re-sized just right to fit on the screen too!
That is an interesting rock formation. Definitely man made, and it appears that part of it has either tumbled or been torn down. Some of the old Cattlemen would tear stuff like that down when they found it, to keep the Gold-seekers from getting interested in the area.
