Tinajas of The Santa Rosas

Post by TradClimber »

As Lara Once Said:

water in the desert is such a miracle, fills one's soul it does
A few summers ago, there was not a drop of surface water to be found where the following photos of tinajas (waterfall tanks) was taken.

The depth of these tinajas will be well over my head throughout the summer. Many thanks to the Christmas downpours for cleaning out the sand and boulders. I've not seen this in almost 20 years.

It's going to be such great fun rappelling down the waterfalls this summer when the desert temperatures are 110+ degrees.

Enjoy,

Those definately are some beautiful pics. Sort of reminds me of Hog Canyon in the Superstitions.
