rattlesnake hangout in Scottsdale...

Post by reptilist »

A friend of mine runs a rattlesake removal business in the Phoenix area and he got the lucky call to relocate several snakes from a house.... This video also found it's way to the KPHO newsroom.

That video is so cool! I have never seen a rattlesnake up close. I am taking a trip to Arizona in a couple weeks and I am staying in a Scottsdale Hotel. I am wondering if any hotels in the Scottsdale area have ever had rattlesnake problems in the rooms. Do snakes like that ever come into houses or do people mostly just have to be careful around them while in the outdoors?

They occasionally come indoors, but as you say, mostly keep a sharp lookout when outside. This time of year, a person would have to already know where to look to find one, otherwise, the odds of stumbling into one are pretty slim.
