Hey Brad:) Don't worry about me your secret is more than safe just looking for someone that know the area and can chat about it. It no fun alone;( I do hike during the summer a little but don't travel that far out after May. I was interested in having parts of the clues I don't understand explained, it like solving a math problem getting it right but having to show your work. Maybe the clues are made up of have changed over the year but some just don't make sense to me. Stuff like you can only get to my mine from the side. Their are other route, not as easy but you can. A grass area above the mine where we left the animals, their no grass area their, maybe 100 years ago but not today. Well, I come from New England and from what I have seen the whole state of Arizona has no grass area:) I would really like to chat off forum, its rare to find someone that is in the same area I am. What ever agreement you need I will be OK with, I understand what would happen if the spot got out. My interest is not fame and fortune. Would you be interest in my E-mail?

Howdy Brad W.,

You are a good man, I too looked into every possible way of staking a legal claim, I too wrote a letter, but to John McCain, only to have it redirected to the State Parks department. I too tried to contact Mr. Corbin. I even offered to share with the whole board of the Lost Dutchman Museum, they didn't even have the courtesy to respond.

I wanted to stake a legal claim to help as many people as I could, but found out that it is just impossible when you're a nobody. Today it is even harder, and will just get worse. Yes it would be nice to have the Superstitions open again for everyone's sake, it's our land after all.

We just lost a lot of land at the end of April. They call it Segregation of Lands - Renewable Energy. This rule stepped over the mining law of 1872, so for two years, a lot of people won't be able to stake any claims. I'm sure they will find a way to extend this.

Brad, you need to be careful of what you say now that you sent a sample. Those pictures can come back to haunt you, if you make just one mistake. You need to know when to fold them. Stay safe Amigo.
