Howdy folks, new member here. Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a native Californian that did half my growin' up on the east coast and always pining to move back west, which I did in '82. Since then I've always lived in the Los Angeles area (yuck) and get out to the Mojave for a day, or two or four every chance I get, which is never enough. You guys and gals that live in the desert make me sick! My desert intrests are four-wheeling, desert plants, animals and geology. I drive an '05 land rover and keep a small collection mostly desert related animals, and about thirty or so cactus and other succulent plants. Happy to be here and share some of the places, things or whatever I love.

Hey, thanks! If I ever get a normal (or at least predictable) work schedule again I'd love to meet up some time. I'm hoping for a nice wet winter here in Southern Calfornia. You know, the kind that brings out the crawling critters.
