Fire near Anza Borrego

Eagle Fire Update 7-24-2011: 10,800 acres, 35% contained, and 1,120 firefighters battling the blaze. Here is a picture we took Saturday from the Visitor Center parking lot.

Wow that fire looks absolutely diabolical in those night shots, like a scene from a movie.

Thanks to the hard work of the fire fighters this fire is 55% contained with full containment expected Saturday. Arso is suspected as being the cause.
