 Now you can experience the excitement and mystery of Geode Hunting. Each size set contains natural geodes that have never been opened. (1.5 to 2+ inches wide) You will be the first to see what treasures lie within each geode.
Geodes are round stones, usually hollow filled with crystals or layers of agate. Your "Break at Home" geode should have either quartz or calcite crystals inside.
To crack your geode, first place it inside an old sock. Lay sock on concrete floor or sidewalk, and lightly tap geode with hammer. Always have an adult help you.
Break-At-Home Geodes are not intended for children under 5 years old.

After carefully pressing out the pieces using only your fingers (no tools or glue necessary) the model is constructed by slipping the pieces together. Directions in English, Spanish, French and German as well as numbered diagrams aid in the construction. Also included is a slip of sand paper for any small adjustments that may be necessary.
