Feb 8, 2008 William reports: We were shocked to see spectacular displays of flowers in the desert. On February 7 we went to the Dumont Dunes, north of Baker. We wanted to walk across and photograph the dunes. The entry road to the area showed nice displays of flowers to the right and left. We continued on to the south end of the dunes where there was a spectacular field of flowers, desert sunflower, sand verbena and dune evening primrose. These flowers had the dunes in the background as a nice photo subject. back to William's full report.
