DesertUSA is now podcasting videos of desert animals and related desert subjects. Podcasting is the method of distributing multimedia files, such as audio or video programs, over the Internet using syndication formats. The videos can be transferred to a portable player (e.g., iPod) or played on your computer.

At the present time a program called iTunes is the best software to use for the videos. iTunes is a free program for Windows and Apple computers. The iTunes Music Store has shows from ABC News, CNN, ESPN, NPR, DesertUSA and more — subscribe free and voila! iTunes automatically downloads each new episode as it becomes available. iTunes is on about 45,000,000 computers today. If you don't have it, you can download iTunes free by clicking here.

If you are using Windows Explorer 7 or Apple Safari, you can get DesertUSA's podcast by clicking here.
