Re: Jim Hatt - RIP

When I first spoke on this forum I had already heard of Jim. He was like a "legend" to me in the sense he had put so much time into looking for the LDM. I am grateful for his open comments and will really miss his ability to listen to new ideas. His best comment to me was "Definitely ...

Re: Peralta stones Lost dutchman mine.

Hello everyone, I wanted to mention that the Travel Channel just aired Ritches Etched In Stone on the episode "Eastland Disaster and Smuttynose Murders". It discusses the Peralta Stones and a possible connection with the Lost Dutchman Mine. It is only 2:49 long but very interesting. Some o...

Re: TOP 5 BOOKS ON LDM

Great suggestion Alan. I just received Bob Wards "Ripples of Lost Echos" from eBay yesterday. For some strange reason it looks very familar to me (as if I saw it decades ago when I was a child.) Thanks Jim and Paul! :D The Lost Dutchman Mine by Sims Ely The Sterling Legend by Estee Conatse...

As I start reading about the LDM I have quickly discovered there are literally hundreds of books written about the subject. My question goes out to anyone that has read the many books about the LDM and can point to 5 books which give the best explanation or description of the facts. If you want to w...

Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

Thanks for the help everyone. Jim, you are right about Weiser's Hickery shirt. Here are the "circumstantial" pieces of evidence I know of so far... 1) Jacob Waltz lived in St. Louis where a Grand Masonic Lodge was founded. 2) Weiser's shirt and the fact that both he and Waltz were friends....

Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

Hello everyone. I have searched the different topics and believe I can ask this question here: Jacob von Walzer, whose last name is sometimes expressed as Waltz (In America), Walz, Wolz, Walls, Walts or Waizer has been described as a 32nd degree Mason in the "True Story of Jacob Walzer and his ...

Re: THE LATIN HEART

I see only one purpose for the Roman numerals and that is to construct a topographic map based around their various locations. I believe you are supposed to "draw" the invisible contour lines yourself in order to "see" the various slope/elevations. Here is what I mean. http://www...

Re: THE LATIN HEART

I know the Latin Heart refers to important topographical features but it doesn't measure the distance between those features. My guess is that you are supposed to confirm these features exist rather than try to scale them out with any measuring device. That still gives the observer plenty of room fo...

Re: The "PERALTA STONE MAPS"

It probably would make a great episode for the reality show "LOST." :P I don't know about you but I always get nervous when someone yells BINGO before I've got any of my beans on my cards...
