Im about as far from an expert as you can get,but they would usualy build 4 stone carins,marking thier claim, and inside one of the carins would be the paperwork,almost always in a prince albert can or like you say,a glass jar

one of my next projects will be a manifold oven,a metal box attached to the exhaust manifold of your car,that heats your food as you go to other locations ,they have a cook book also,called manifold destiny

this guy at the health food store built a small trailer he tows with a bicycle,on the trailer is a large bowl shaped unit(built from a warehouse light) with a spot in the middle that is the "burner",then inside the bowl are mirrors,that are refractors or reflectors that are all concentrate...

Paper is old,possibly invented by Egyptians or Koreans,in the first 100 years after divinity.The Chinese were producing it early in history(13th century).But this would have been on a small scale ,all hand made,possibly made for each specific use, you would not go purchase paper,it was not common pl...
