After five years of research about the Lost Dutchman Mine, I self-published the book titled: " THE LOST DUTHMEN MINE and PEG LEG PETE MINE " (ISBN: 978-1-4787-9011-2) in 2017. This book was purely my supposition thoughts on the Peralta Stones and the Lost Dutchman Mine in general. Last wee...

Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

Jim: The Lost Dutchman Mine is a story of man's greed; nothing less, nothing more. After many years of researching The Dutchman Mine, I have written a supposition essay about the history of the Lost Dutchman Mine. That is to say I found the proverbial " "NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK" , This l...

Re: Pegleg's Lost Mine

I an currently researching the Peg Leg Lost Mine. I think the hay stack for the location of the gold is above (north of) the circle map published in Desert Magazine, November, 1946. In addition, it possible it may have been worked in the early 1900's. But, who knows? I could be wrong! Sincerely, CRA...

Re: SIMS ELY'S BOOK - The Lost Dutchman Mine

Hi Jim: I read the "SIM ELY'S BOOK - Lost Dutchman Mine " article. It was great! However, after years of research about the Lost Dutchman Mine I never found any information that the Peralta Mines were pit mines except in this article. Peralta miners and probably Jacob Weiser and Jacob Walt...

Re: THE "GERMAN" CLUES

However, It I assumed that at the time Jacob Watlz gave them the directions he was suffering fro Alzheimer's disease. Accordingly he them direction to the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine from For...
