Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

Thanks Joe Good information. I did not know any Apaches lived north of the Salt, that must of have been before Fort McDonald came into existence otherwise they would have been exposed? Thanks Jeff. .

Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

Thanks Joe for the reply. In Helen Corbin's book page 202 she talks about an Apache ghost spirit that watches over their sacred places in the Supers. Ghost Horse before his death remarked about Ta-neah the ghost spirit who watches over kunh-ga-nah-hay the secret religious places in the mountains. I ...

Re: Doodles made by Jacob Waltz

Joe respectfully the images you posted of the Dutchman's exact doodle is in fact not an exacted representation. and the difference may appear to be small but, I assure you it is not, which you will see late fall early next year. Look at Helen Corbin's post several pages back that is exact, and signi...

Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

Does anybody, have much info on Bill Jenkins, I have read Storms book and some previous post and the whole things not seem to make any sense? If Jenkins was in AV home, how long had he been in there? What was Bill Jenkins background history? Maybe he met someone in the VA who actually had been there...

Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

Hey Wayne Hope all is going well? In Thomas Glover's book he talks about the extensive tests he had done on known gold samples from the Dutchman's day from surrounding mines, ( Vulcan, Goldfields, etc.). And the matchbox now that belongs to Schuss along with some other known jewelry made from Waltz'...

Re: Doodles made by Jacob Waltz

Joe Great picture appears to be weavers needle. Absolutely a great point, and I only saw what he was trying to draw last week after looking at it 30 or 40 times, and now it is obvious what he was trying to draw, and it is another place. Like you said older lying there sick and trying to draw from be...

Re: Doodles made by Jacob Waltz

It fits some where else, It is not weavers needle. Jacob Waltz was not a trained artist or cartographer like keno. Most of these maps are not in the correct 2 dimensional formation. The area is even hard to draw correctly by a trained artist as myself, back then it would have been very difficult to ...

Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

No not the bat cave, that thing on the show sorry was lame. I was talking about the Peralta daughter who supposedly said they use poles to climb to mine, nothing at all to do with the bat cave. The bat cave ladder was probably still there from the forties when they got bat squat for gun powder. The ...

Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

Hey Thanks Wayne We have several photos, not Google Earth but with Ziess Telephoto maybe someone was up there in the fifty's, but it is right in front of a mine entrance, in the fall we will try to get up there. We are taking two mountain climbers with us this time and my two guys are taking repelli...
