Re: Freedom of speach moderated?

I still dont see making a rubber tree joke merits moderation, classifies terms violation, or personal attack ,.... But as you state, its your board, Have fun Im Gone  Respectfully Wayne Nosala Wayne, It seems to be a trait for some to over moderate expression of opinions on this board. The pa...

Re: New Mexico launches OHV abuse hotline

Sandman, please post the link from the official site of this. This looks like it was taken from a COW site. It doesn't make sense. "Details of violation". Average citizens know the vehicle code? Something is fishy here. ;) Sandman, If you had read my response you might have seen the quest...

Re: New Mexico launches OHV abuse hotline

There are many states who would give you a problem if you used 911 for anything but an emergency - and the folks who get to decide if its an emergency, are the people going out. In some states - when you call 911, it does not just go to the police - where I used to emt, when a 911 call went out, po...

Re: New Mexico launches OHV abuse hotline

Allen wrote: "In every state, there is already a method to report these illegal OHV riders and that is done by dialing 911." Now that would be a classic case of "911 abuse" Castle is talking about. 911 is reserved for true emergencies where life and limb are at risk. A toll free...

Re: New Mexico launches OHV abuse hotline

The hotline is set up for New Mexico and that's where YellowPine lives. Just install "Safe and Effective ATV Guards" everywhere and you won't need a hotline. :D

Re: New Mexico launches OHV abuse hotline

Evidently, state officials in New Mexico see a need for a statewide reporting system due to a high incidence of illegal OHV abuse. I find it amusing that the same old posters here keep denying the scope and magnitude of the ongoing problems associated with these scoflaws. The evidence remains long ...

Re: New Mexico launches OHV abuse hotline

I don't believe that applies in this case. Dirt bike riding scofflaws should be turned in just like any other criminals. Whats next? We shouldn't turn in child molesters and rapists because the long arm of the law might eyeball my Playboy collection? (No I don't have a Playboy collection...honest.....

Re: New Mexico launches OHV abuse hotline

I just did a quick search of the Albuquerque Journal and it came up blank when searching Key Words and phrases shown in the posted article. It's still the right thing to do by reporting gross violators but it sounds like either that enforcement program is now gone, or perhaps the original source was...

Re: desert town to stop subsidizing Off-roaders

What's your point SAL, it was a money problem, not an OHV problem. A lot of citys I'm sure have cut back on those types of expences. Castle, That may be more than Sal ---DELETED--- can understand. No doubt, he feels that the race is ending because the locals don't like it, or perhaps it was ended t...

I wonder what you wrote that got deleted by someone with better judgment than us. My entire post was deleted. L...
