Re: Borrego Days

Hey, Jim, good tip but we can't make that. Grandkids are all wrapped up in soccer and football until Thanksgiving. This is an annual scheduling reality with us and therefore we always come down the day after Thanksgiving for the weekend. With one exception, we have always stayed at the Palm Canyon ...

Re: Anza Borrego Desert state park

Well, looks like Palm Canyon Resort is closed. Nothing in our local paper but they are having a yard sale every day and saw 2 forums with copies of e-mails sent to the groups cancelling their reservations as they are closed. Wow. Hey...that's my husbands photo! We went out there Monday night. The nice Mesquite tree stopped it from going any further!

Re: Anza Borrego Desert state park

It's a great place to visit in the summer! Early evening colors on Fonts and the Badlands are beautiful! Yeah, it's a bit warm...it's 105 now at 7 PM, but it's worth it. No crowds either!

Cathedral Canyon near Pahrump, NV

Anybody been? Recently? Heading over to a friend's in Pahrump next week and looking for some off-road stuff to do and this place came up. Looks interesting. Also any suggestion for Jeep 4x4 roads would be great too!

I use Firefox all the time on my iMac and love it, however if I wanted to look at the photos on my iPad I'd be out of luck!
