I do not believe public lands are seeing an increase of OHV use currently. With the economy the way it is with the loss of jobs and higher fuel costs there is a decrease of OHV use unless you are talking about me.

Once or twice a year I take my scraper to about 2 1/2 acres around my home in Wonder Valley. This removes the Cryptogamic crust, weeds and grasses. I do it for fire safety. The first step in lightening any dual sport motorcycle for desert use is to get rid of any excess weight. Dan we all seem to have the Italian disease Funzalow. Load up the bikes and spend a day and night in Wonder Valley at my place. There are limited use area, Wemo area and owner maintained dirt roads to ride. With the money you save you may afford a beer and steak :mrgreen:
