Re: Jim Hatt - RIP

I am definitely missing that rascal, Jim Hatt! Whether we were on the "mountain", or we were sitting together pouring over the maps and pictures we took, or cooking on the barbie....I am gonna miss him for a long, long time. The best thing is knowing that he finally GOT IT!!!.... deciphere...

Re: The "PERALTA STONE MAPS"

If I have been looking at the Stone Maps for, as I said over 30 years, and I feel I have paid at least some of my dues on the mountain..., the rattlers, the thorns, the sounds, th...

Re: The "PERALTA STONE MAPS"

Jim, even though I first stepped foot long (30 years ago) into the Superstition Mtns., and quite the rookie, with not even half the story and background of the 'Peralta Stone Maps", I will stand beside you on the maps, and the fact that "...he who understands the maps" sees the end of...

Re: GENERAL DISCUSSION - Anything related to the LDM

Jim, without being obnoxious... ya have to be there in August to appreciate the depth of the Superstitions. I worked for "Crazy Jake", a true character... a dangerous character, that ended up in the "big house", "monkey house", or whatever else you would call it! The St...
