Sorry if this is a dumb question, but as I read up on this, ‘The Holmes Manuscript’, I have to ask: Did Richard J. ‘Dick’ Holmes speak or understand German? If Helena (Julia?) Thomas and Rhineheart (Rhiney) Petrasch had a hard time with understanding a dieing German what about Holmes? Keep on lookin...
