Re: Post Pictures Of Unusual Things You Found In The Desert

Great! you found him. He was sitting on my lap in Rachel, NV and he ran away. We thought he was dead. We've been looking for him since Sept. 20th, 2004. Thanks Ken.

Re: Twin Bambies just hours after they were born

Nice photos Jim. Those are great! really enjoy the photos. Loved the story.
Sorry I keep looking at these photos, and I think I see one of the little Bambies at about 5:00 from your arrow, I see big ears, if you look in the open area.

Re: Desert Tortoises

WOW! Jim, great photos. I remember how excited Don & I were when we spotted our first tortoise. I assume the one in front is the female, am I correct?

Re: Sonoran Gopher Snake

Just curious, what is the reason for keeping a snake in captivity unless it's for research?

Re: Walking Through the desert

Welcome to the site. I don't think you will have to worry about flash floods during the fall & spring months. You may want to check out these MRE's that don't weigh allot, even a few could come in handy if you get off the beaten track.

Re: The birds in my backyard....

The little hummers are hard to get. They don't like to sit still very long. What kind of hummer is that? I don't think it's a Hum 2 and for sure not a FJ.
