Re: Lost Arch Mine in the Turtle Mts, Ca

Roy,

That must have been an exciting day when you stumbled on to that mine. Were you following clues to the Lost Arch or did you just happen to find it while out roaming around and later figure out what it might be?

Either way Nice job!

The foliage in the mercury mine is sure curious....
And I like those gaiters that Clay is wearing.
In my opinion that foliage could have only been put there to help hide something.
Like a covered shaft?

Re: Colorado Man "Goes Missing" in the Superstition Mountains!

Nothing specific Bob, Just pondering the idea of a "different route". Jim Jim, I have been looking at the map and trying to figure out what other different route there could be to the area where he was camped. I don't see any that make sense. Are there trails out there that are not shown ...

Jim,
I forgot something I wanted ask. Do you think there is any chance anyone could survive out there as long as Jesse Capen has been missing?

Re: Colorado Man "Goes Missing" in the Superstition Mountains!

This is the approximate route I plan to take through Indian Spring Canyon tomorrow. I may alter it if I see signs of broken branches or tracks once I am in the canyon bottom. I have made this trip several times before, and know it is possible to do in/out in one day. http://i212.photobucket.com/alb...

Jim, how do you find all these places. Someone give you maps to them?

Re: MILK RANCH CLAIMS and the June 1860 Peralto Map

Wow! If there were mining claims there, there must have been gold there to!
Have you ever been back there to look for the? With the price of gold as high as it is now, it wouldn't take very much to pay for the trip. Anybody want to go look for it?

Jim, That really is good.
Is there any way I can download it and save it to my computer?
