Re: Lost Arch Mine in the Turtle Mts, Ca
Roy,
That must have been an exciting day when you stumbled on to that mine. Were you following clues to the Lost Arch or did you just happen to find it while out roaming around and later figure out what it might be?
Either way Nice job!

In my opinion that foliage could have only been put there to help hide something.reptilist wrote:Neat story Jim.
The foliage in the mercury mine is sure curious....
And I like those gaiters that Clay is wearing.
Like a covered shaft?

Re: MILK RANCH CLAIMS and the June 1860 Peralto Map
Wow! If there were mining claims there, there must have been gold there to!
Have you ever been back there to look for the? With the price of gold as high as it is now, it wouldn't take very much to pay for the trip. Anybody want to go look for it?

Will you do me a favor Bob? After you finish reading that discussion on Treasurenet, (All four pages). Will you come back here and tell me if you can answer your own question? ie:What I meant in connection with the archives was not the Spanish expulsion, per se, but that Rohas was recalled specific...

Hello, I am new to the Forum and Club and glad to be here. My questions on if the LDM is found...Due to The Wilderness Designation, one could not mine or remove the Gold if found, correct? Would the discovery be an issue in that many fortune seekers would swarm to the area thus forcing the Gov. to ...
