Thanks for the update marius.

From his book, you can choose a couple of hikes to do, and also read the history associated with each hike route. You will probably...

Re: Quartz in the Supers
Sounds like you have everything all figured out Marius.
If so, then I offer my humblest congratulations.
Who knows, maybe someday we will run into each other out there in the mountains ?

Thanks for the link Jim.
I think everyone who knew Tom, and all those who read his books or followed his column in the newspaper, will miss his presence going forward.

Re: Here is what happened
It's all a good read Ryan. A possibility for the "projectile" you listed. Travis' grandfather had lost his leg, likely due to an infection after he accidentally shot himself. Could this be the slug that was removed from his leg, saved and passed on to Travis as a reminder "not to get ...

Re: Here is what happened
Revised my previous post, to further clarify my opinion. 1/4 circle Even less.....about 60 degrees, or 3X20 deg. And barely 100 years old IMO. The great Jesuit roundup in the southwest was 250 years ago. Any Saguaro transplanted by pre-expulsion Jesuits would have to have been ready to put markings ...

A transplanted Saguaro would have to be even older than that, and look something like this.... http://avax.news/fact/Worlds_Biggest_Saguaro_Cactus.html ...
