Yep I see what your saying starting to learn how to navigate the map I did notice the ditch running north of Airlane on my drive the other day thanks for pointing that out I been known to rock hound around the tracks now I notice lots of rocks along that ditch I want to check them out and on that ae...

Helps immensely Paul ! I’ll have to follow the path of the DD In the LDM folklore the DD cut through Waltz’s land. Those lots were quite large. Supposedly Waltz help dig some of that ditch As a laborer for Swilling? Tight for cash? Who knows? But wherever he dug-- I want to look Ha Ha As I understan...

Thanks Paul for posting the links especially the 12st link! hhhmmm…. so that canal is the remnant of the original DD? That what I thought years ago when I went exploring. Thanks Paul for replying and for the aerial link! I've been looking for early aerial photo's of Phoenix I'll have to take some time to study it it sadden me if I wrong about finding Dutch's Ditch :oops: but o well....finding anything to do with the LDM is difficult :lol: I'll reconnaissance the area...
