Re: James Addison Reavis & The Peralta Stone Maps

Hola amigos, I have major problems with the Reavis theory - for one, Reavis never mentioned them (even though he did make fake stone-carved land marker monuments, he didn't try to HIDE them by burying) the maps themselves are nothing like any kind of land-claim or property boundary map, and most imp...

Re: Goverment satellite photo of large gold deposit?

Welcome to DesertUSA Crazydawg ! :D I sure don't recall ever hearing about this one - can you remember any other details? I do recall that big story of a satellite image of Noah's Ark being shot accidentally but closer examination shows not enough detail to really tell what that was. Thank you in ad...

Re: Fossils

Hola amigo,
I can ask Beth to take a few shots for me, digital photography is not my 'bag' - the only camera I own and use is an antique, out-dated Canon 35mm. Haven't had any luck with digital cameras, they just are not too durable to take along 'in the field' it seems.

Re: SIMS ELY'S BOOK - The Lost Dutchman Mine

Cubfan wrote It's quite an interesting idea to think that perhaps Waltz and Wieser ( if there WAS a Weiser ) were afraid they may have been claim jumping when they came upon the mine. That aspect < Was there a Weiser > boils down to whether you accept the stories of Julia and Reiney, and Dr Walker w...

Re: Fossils

That is really cool Ed - and you are right, supposedly the ammonites can be up to six feet across. The biggest we found was WAY less than that though, only found out how to find them last summer and haven't been to the spot this year. I don't know if it holds true everywhere but they are only found ...

Re: The Lost Ship of The Mojave

Hola amigo Isayhello2u ! Thank you for the very kind words and reference - I can't take credit for the forum "weeding out" some of the hostile 'trolls' that were getting to be a nuisance, Jim handled most all of that rather thankless job. It is never a fun thing to have to give someone the...

Ashton wrote Even when the LDM if found, there could be years of discussion of "is this really it? Because Mr. Y said it had to be (whatever)". Even with ore samples, you can bet the argument will continue. The ore sample can prove or disprove it as a fact, scientifically, similarly to fin...
