the triangle is in canyon fresco. the 10 stands for the month in which to arrive in the area for best chances of water. superstitions rainy season in which water does not dry up so fast..the triangle with the comet in the middle can be seen from the same vantage point as can the howling coyote that appears on two other drawn maps. pictographs are in both areas that represent canyon fresco. hence the name

We have concluded that the triangle and the 10 are not relevant. Looking closely at them you will find that they were most probably made by a Dremel with a fine bit, not available in 1847. The conclusion is the trail ends at the end of leg 20.

As for the triangle with the slash in it if you stand at that turn in the trail you will face a natural rock barrier. At an angle of 300 degrees there is a natural break in the wall. Proceed through that and you will soon come upon trail marker 14 which still exists. The symbol, we think, means proceed through the opening in the rock barrier at an angle of 300 degrees. The slash is at an angle of 300 degrees.

For those of you with a different interpretation may we suggest you start your own thread and explain it to us, as we have done?

the triangle refers to the area the stone maps pertain to, it also houses the dot wit the lie referred to on the other forum. this is really a comet in a triangle. this can be seen from the saddle above canyon fresco. 10 is the month to travel to this desert, 4 is the month to leave. The stone maps are a reference to one specific area, and all symbols on the stone map can be seen from the specified 18 places spoken of on the maps to assure you your in the right area, the heart with the zero's as some call it and the upside u's are a large part carved into volcanic rock in the area to signify your in the heart of this mining area. the altar is below in the entrance to this area. a large crystal was found on its altar. its a large altar too. there are two of the paper maps that refer to this area also, the stone maps were sanded down to remove the pictures that were on them, this was done to keep anyone from knowing this particular area in question. the horse map has the best remnants of the pictures and ridge-lines of the mountains that will direct the most avid hiker to the exact area. once you get there though, you must find the map on the rock to find the jesuit treasure. this rock faces the sourcerer. with his wand and the letters you all refer to as the = ,circle with the dot , 3 -2 and all the other symbols on the stone map. Then look at the witch on the stone map, she is on the third step, then you stand on the third step in front of the rock map and it lines up with the map carved on the mountain behind it . this also has an alignment rock that falls in place when viewed from the particular step. behind all this is a man with what appears to be a ww1 flight leather cap with ear covers and glasses ,as wierd as this sounds its true, and he has his finger touching his head, as if telling you to think. however it points west, if you go 200 feet west the sourcerer turns int the witch. with all the symbols pouring out of her wand . the sourcerer was made many years before , and his head must have been modified to fit this angle, or possibly because it is a fresco , and you know how they go from pictograph to pictograph. it , the witch is rough, the sourcerer is handsome, and 40 feet tall . sounds crazy but its true. the coyote is here in the same canyon. canyon freso is so named for the large frescos painted here of jesus , mary , the wise men and the eagle in-front of her and baby jesus and , i know it sounds crazy , but a large winged angle above her. this ia all across a large mountain face on the back side of the cartoon horse , and the dogs ear. the cartoon horse also has the filly hiding behind him. shes shy as they said . does this sound at all familiar to you. . more to follow

Sorry so late , last time i wrote i forgot the important part, the 4 also stands for the large hearts you will find on the way . The first one at gold canyon the ridge on or around the country club course, its best viewed from the end of idaho on the forest trail above the big statue of the god baal in the little canyon with all the caves. there is an awsome leopards head here too, the second heart is at the end of meridian road, besr viewed from the little butte on brown road everybody jogs up, this butte also has the big rock circle on it brown west of ellsworth. The third is on the way to canyon lake , a little before the viewpoint there on the left side, this used to be a big mining area for juan murietta, his initial m is seen on some mountain ares as chuck kenworthy noted. The fourth one is in the book bob schoose re printed and the picture was shot from the mail box area of the dam. Now im not giving too many clues , but those of you like myself should be able to figure this out. the last heart is the last mining area.
