Lightning strike Just before 6PM this afternoon.
Fire burning about 1-1/2 miles SE of Tortilla Flat.

Look on the bright side
Once that fire clears away all the overgrowth
It should be easy to see where the LDM is :ugeek:

The fire had burned itself out when we checked at noon on Saturday.

There were two fires burning on Four Peaks Thursday night as well.
Fire crews responded Friday morning to the largest on, which they named the "Reno" fire.
As far as I know, all were out by this (Saturday) afternoon, but there were more thunderheads building over the area late today.
It's extremely hot out there, with air temps exceeding 120 in the canyons and washes, but the vegetation still has some moisture in it.
