Very nice reflection pool TC.
You must've got your Artistic License from the same place as me.

Nature's Graffiti or Art? - Revisited 11/7/10.

I came back to shoot a few more photos of this bedrock, hoping to spread some water on it to bring the colors out more.

However, water is still a scarce commodity around here – if you know what I mean.

Here's a couple more pics of the bedrock until next spring.

I thought the remote by-yourself climbing was dangerous, but packing people in a Pinto ! ? !

I noticed a lack of ascenders in the gear shot. You use prusik knots? Or just walk out down the streambed until you're out of the canyon?

Great shots !

Got any works from Pablo Peccary ?

Not very dangerous - the Pinto's gas tank was always on empty.

I was prevented from descending further by another dry waterfall when I had used up my two ropes. I left the two ropes fixed in place for several days to facilitate my return trip. This is certainly no place where I would want to get myself stranded. It is doubtful I could survive that embarrassment.

Instead of mechanical ascenders (jumars), I chose to use Bachman knots (a type of prusik knot) to save a few ounces. I also shaved a few more ounces by using a 1” sling as a diaper instead of a swami belt for a harness. My pack still weight in at over 65 pounds. 41 percent of my body weight.

Nothing yet from Pablo Peccary – hahaha.

Thanks for looking at my pics.

Running on - running blind
Running on - running into the sun
But I’m running behind”
