I wish I could give a "thumbs up" to this place, but I ended up disappointed. We entered the garden ($7/ea.) in order to see their indoor butterfly exhibit.... Unfortunately, the Desert Spiny Lizards made short work of their butterflies so we wandered around in the sweltering heat for a half an hour, then left.
The road home....
Tucson Botanical Garden...
Re: Tucson Botanical Garden...
rep,
I've never been disappointed at the Az-Sonora Desert Museum. (or EEGEEs either for that matter!)
Hope you had some EEGEES before you left!

Re: Tucson Botanical Garden...
Yep. The ASMD is great!
I read an article in the online Tucson Daily Star after I got home : If I had known about it, I would have been thrilled to see the 40,000 Mexican Free Tailed Bats come wheeling out from under the Campbell/Rio Rillito bridge at dusk!
We ate at Mimi's Cafe and also the Cheesecake Factory.
On a high note... There is now an REI store at the Tucson Mall! Woohoo!
