Here's a pair of rattlesnakes in my collection...

The larger one is a Northern Black Tailed Rattlesnake and the smaller is an Arizona Black Rattlesnake.
They share a nice sized cage together.

beautiful! but i can't help but wonder, how do you clean their cages. i suppose the answer would be "very carefully."

Exactly!

For spot cleaning I use 24" forceps to pick up the patch of soiled bedding. If I can't reach it safely then the snakes must be moved into a covered bucket.

Most of the time they are not interested in closing the distance to bite me. The Diamondback is more likely to feel otherwise.
